# Authenticating
In order to connect to the CheckPoint - Dome9 (CloudGuard), please follow these steps:

1. Create an account in CheckPoint Dome9 CloudGuard.
2. Connect your AWS cloud account to Dome9.
3. Generate your API key ID & API key secret.
