To enable API access, configure the following using the Web UI of the Trend Micro Deep Security Manager:
- Enable the SOAP API:
Administration -> System Settings -> Advanced -> SOAP Web Service API -> Enable
-  Connecting user must have the role "Allow Access to web services API" checked.
